Common Yellow Throat
We met this small guy in a birds sanctuary in the middle of Ontario. These kind of birds are curious and a little bit intelligent. In the beginning they try to attract attention, afterwards they beg for food. We tried to cheat them with leafs on our hands, but after discovering this impertinence of us, they blustered. Indian Summer, Ontario, Canada
Somewhere in Ontario I hit the brakes of our rental car because I discovered this nice creek on the side of the highway. It is a typical Canadian Indian Summer photo. To get a silky appearance of the water I used a tripod and varied the exposure time. But due to the wind only this photo shows sharp leafs and silky water. More Details...

Ladybirds at Point Pelee, Lake Erie, Ontario, Canada
Canada's southern-most point offers a variety of nature attractions. In the fall, you will find thousands of ladybirds sitting together on stones and branches at the beach. I do not know why. They are just sitting together but it seems to be a collective pass away ritual. More Details...
